HILLS
REGION & BOTTOMS
REGION WHITETAIL HUNTS:
Safety belts are
mandatory on all hunts. Please remember
to bring a good flashlight
with fresh
batteries.
Solid blaze orange
hat & vest
(no broken patterns) are required during
all black powder & rifle
seasons, even when bow hunting. Cell
phones come in handy to contact your
guide in case of emergency. Any good
camouflage will work during
bow season. We recommend knee-high rubber
boots and/or half-rubber boots for scent
control. Any type of call or rattle can
work, but
we suggest using them sparingly. Our
opinion is that no scent is
the best, but you are welcome to use
any that you
like. Please do
your due diligence before you arrive & become
as knowledgeable as possible with regard
to scoring deer according to Pope & Young
standards. We want you to have the best
possible opportunity to harvest a true
trophy whitetail
and letting the small ones walk is where
it all begins!
